We state what every piece is made of. Not because the law says so, but because the fabric decides how a garment hangs, how warm it is and how long it lasts.
Viscose
Soft, cool against the skin and with a beautiful drape. Viscose creases more easily than polyester and doesn't like the tumble dryer — drying it on a hanger keeps its shape.
Cotton
Breathable and hard-wearing. It can shrink slightly in the first wash; we have allowed for that in the measurements.
Polyester and elastane
Holds its shape and resists creasing. The elastane lets a cut move with you instead of pulling.
Knitwear: acrylic, wool, cotton
Acrylic keeps you warm and is easy to care for. Wool is warmer and stays fresh longer, but needs hand washing or a wool cycle.
Care
The composition is in the description of every item. When in doubt, wash cool, inside out and without a dryer — that noticeably extends the life of most pieces.
