Two minutes, three measurements
Take a tape measure. Measure over your underwear, not over your clothes, and don't pull the tape tight.
- Bust — at the widest point
- Waist — at the narrowest point, usually two fingers above your navel
- Hip — at the widest point, about 20 cm below your waist
Write them down. You'll need them for every order, ours included.
Why we don't ask for your size
You have a size in your head. M perhaps, or 40. That number comes from a shop where something fitted you well years ago.
The problem is that no binding standard exists. The same woman wears M at a Swedish label, L at an Italian one and S at an American one. Nobody is deceiving anyone — there simply is no common basis.
Three measurements in centimetres cannot contradict each other. That is why we ask for those.
How to read our size table
Every product has a table. Those figures are measured on the garment itself, laid flat — not on a model, and not copied from a general chart.
Compare your three measurements with the garment's. For a relaxed blouse or dress you want roughly 4 to 8 centimetres of room at the bust. Less for something close-fitting, more for an oversized knit.
European sizes as a guide
Our sizes are European. A 40 is a 40. This table is a starting point — the table on the product itself always takes precedence.

What does “universal” mean?
Some pieces show no size but universal. That is one size, cut generously, intended to cover a broad range — usually around 36 to 42.
We leave that designation exactly as the supplier gives it, because we don't invent anything. But these pieces come with the table too, showing the garment's actual measurements. Compare them with your own and you'll know exactly where you stand.
If you're between sizes
For dresses, blouses and knitwear: take the larger size. For trousers and skirts the waist decides, not the hip.
